Steam Water Heating
The Inside Operations of the Steam Water Heater |
How It Operates
Kemco’s Steam Heaters provide alternate solutions
to a plant’s needs for hot water where it is necessary
to operate a low pressure steam boiler.
Water is pumped into the steam heater head assembly
in such a manner that it makes 2 passes through the
heat transfer zone. The amount of steam allowed to pass into
the steam heater determines the desired outlet temperature
of the water. The collected steam is directed back to the
boiler feed system.
Stored water can be heated with submerged tube bundles
prior to pumping the water to the process, or a side arm version
for open water systems.
