Laundry: Correctional Institution
(ASH) Air Sparged Hydrocyclone System
Kemco Systems, Inc. provided a 100 GPM ASH wastewater treatment
system for recycling of laundry wastewater at a state correctional
institution in California. The system included an ASH system
followed by sand filtration. The performance of the system
is excellent and produces clear effluent averaging 120,000
gallons of recycled water every week or over 6,000,000 gallons
per year.
At present the laundry achieves 65% recycle with the system
at a low cost of treatment. Sample analytical results are
given in the table below.
