Department Of Defense
(ASH) Air Sparged Hydrocyclone System
According to the Department of Defense,
many military activities create waste streams from items
such as motor pool and aircraft wash racks, fuel tank
cleaning, storm drains and fire fighter training where
(AFFF) Aqueous Film Forming Foam is used in fighting combustible
and flammable liquid fuel fires. |

To ensure optimal waste stream management, several different
treatments were evaluated, and the most effective
found was Kemco’s ASH technology. Air
Force researchers say that the ASH technology is a valuable
tool in treating a variety of DOD generated waste streams
where alternate methods were either ineffective or extremely
costly. AFFF reduction exceeded 90% using the
ASH system!
